How to treat dry skin at home?

     

 As we know dry skin is a common problem specially in winter. In winter almost everyone have faced this problem. Dry skin have many causes some are environmental causes and sometimes it occurs due to lack of nutrients. So below we will see some tips to treat dry skin - 




1 - Eat foods enriched with antioxidant

The foods which is high in antioxidants can prevent damage of cells from toxins and help our body to make our cells healthier. These are some foods for a healthy skin - 

Tomatoes , Carrots , Beans , Peas etc.





2 - Use coconut oil

Coconut has a powerful property to hydrate our skin and make smooth. So you can massage your skin with coconut oil everyday. It will turn your dry skin into a smooth and moisturized skin.





3  - Use petroleum jelly

We can use petroleum jelly also. When we applies petroleum jelly to our skin this jelly makes a layer between environment and skin and reduces the losses of moisture. So skin remains hydrated.




4 - Avoid your skin from detergents

We uses dish soap and detergents to clean our crockeries and clothes in our daily life. But do you know? these detergents contains harmful chemicals that can damage our skin cells. So we should use gloves when using these detergents to avoid direct contact of detergents to skin.





5 - Hot shower may create dryness to skin

Taking shower with hot water makes our muscles relax but it can makes our skin dry. So when taking hot shower then make it short .
